The brownish/red hue is most likely from additives in your gasoline, looks as though you may be running a little rich too, might want to lean out your fuel mixture a bit, maybe consider stepping up one heat range to burn off those deposits.
Well...interesting...I haven't been addding any additives to my tank since last summer. I always fill up at the Shell station in my small town. I always use the same pump because the old trucks gas fill tube is disfigured so a normal fuel hose backs up spilling all down the side of the truck. This pump has an old style nozzle. It's the only place thats an easy fill up.
I guess I'll carefully and slowly fill up in the city from now on to see if it helps.
