RAS + Firestone Airbags = ??
RAS + Firestone Airbags = ??

I already have the Firestone Airbags installed. Use them to level out the truck when towing my TT.
Can I ALSO add the RAS to help with axle wrap, wander, steering?
Do the two work against each other if I use them both?
Should I take off the airbags and just use the RAS?
Thanks for your advice.

Depending on your trailer it probably wouldn't use the bags much. Radius rods would work great with your setup. The RR need to have brackets welded on though so most go with RAS. If you decide to get rid our your bags let me know, I'll be installing RR shorly here and air bags are on the list to get.
My TT is about 700lbs tongue weight and 7500lbs total. 29 feet long.
I usually run my airbags at around 40psi. Just enough to level out the truck when all hooked up. I use an Equalizer and have had really good luck with proper set up and sway control.
Can I install the RAS with the airbags on the truck? Will they essentially do the same thing...lift the back end a bit both while towing and when not towing?
Is there a safety reason to not use both?

B) You can do both with no harm.
C) There may be some interference between the two kits.
D) I think the RAS alone could easily handle your trailer.
E) Alternately, you could purchase Radius Rods and keep the air bags. A bit harder install than RAS, but definitely the optimum set-up.
Best of luck with your choice.
Thanks Forest.
A - I looked up my tongue weight and it is actually 775lbs. I also load my trailer with most of the weight in the front. Equalizer is set up perfectly. I honestly have little sway problems - pretty stable even in wind.
I think I will look into taking the airbags off and installing the RAS or using the airbags with the radius rods.
Thanks again for your help.
