Test Drove an F250 today

Went to my Dealership that ive been accustomed to ever since I bought my car. I've test driven a 2011 RAM 2500 CrewCab SRW SB before there, and was set on buying one in august. I was excited to own another diesel after selling mine a year ago. Then I went against my wants and decided to try out the Ford's New Diesel. To say I was impressed would be an under-statement. I was AMAZED. I tested a F-250 CrewCab XLT SB, and that thing had a kick to it. I'm very confident it was faster than my '09 Impala LT that im driving. It was so much faster than the Cummins, and the interior was a 10/10 rather than the Ram's. I'd give the RAM a 6/10 for interior. I LOVE Ford's new Diesel. It was very responsive when i floored it. Plus the crewcab space seemed more roomy than the crewcab of the RAM. Plus the gauges were beautiful. There was a difference of $10,000 between the RAM SLT CC and the FORD XLT CC. I enjoyed the Ford a lot better. I could see myself keeping that truck a lot longer than I would have with the RAM. Just wanted to share that with yall. My last Diesel was a '94 F250 with the 7.3 N/A. I miss having a diesel. The sound, feel, smell. I can't wait till August. Wish I could buy one now.

If you are looking at packages, I am very happy with the King Ranch. I had a Lariat before, 2008 model. The 2011 is far superior.

Or you could get a Lariat and save a few thousand dollars over the KR. Basically the same thing. I went with the Lariat since I'm not too fond of the red leather on the KR.

Same here......I chose the Lariat only because I don't care for the red KR interior. If KR came in black with all the KR logo's embossed in the leather, I certainly would have purchased the KR package.
I do wish I had the 2-tone paint on my truck around the fenderwell's and the colormatched grill.......oh well, I still like the appearance of my truck equally as much with the chrome package.
The 2011's in what ever configuration they come in, are excellent trucks in both appearance and functionality!!

The KR leather from previous year models did seem to be a little thicker not a lot. The new KR leather in my opinion seems exactly the same just red.

i thought the Lariat 2=tone went around the wheel wells. My dealer just got a 250 in. Its a 2-tone and it goes around the wheel wells.

OK, I confirmed it does go around the wells. This issue always gets me going before ordering because the ford build site does not show that is does. My bad.
