as some of you know i am doing a quick resto on my 96. i have had a water leak for sometime and havent been able to pinpoint it . so i had someone run water over the cab for me last weekend to find,,, nothing. its been raining here all week and i have checked the truck every day to see if its wet. today is the 1st i noticed water. it was on the rear cab wall , under the slider, on a flange about 5 inches below the slider, it is right above where ford seam sealed the back wall . so its coming internally somewhere. i will take off the third lamp tomamrow and duct tape it off to verify thats not the issue, but any other ideas, i dont see any other water from the slider so i am doubting the sliding window seal. thanks
justin
Just a thought, take some kool-aid, mix it up in a spray bottle with water, and keep spraying both seals....Theoretically, if the seals are leaking, the colored water will show up, and you can find the leak faster...
