OT--Gov't Shut Down

I know that everyone has seen on the news about the impending Gov't shut down, but just found out this afternoon that my job is endanger if this happens. Working for Uncle Sam is nice with the retirement and benefits are good until something like this happens. So if everyone would just pray that they work someting out quick as my income is the primary one and like everybody else I can't afford to be off with no pay.

OT- Politics and Religion does not go in a Tech sections. I hate your situation and its all just a bluff. Not trying to be mean but alot of OT topics that have been around lately the mods will come down on Jim thats why they have an OT thread sticky at the top of the forum.

Like I said not trying to be mean but it is just how it is been like that for years.

Why isn't the pay for these lawmakers being be cut off too if the government shuts down? If it were, they would be more inclined to work it out.

I do not like the lawmakers being paid regardless of their decisions.

I'm not back in a combat zone just yet, but I will be soon. And the fact that my brothers and sisters are dying and we are going without pay for our service because poiliticians who never lived a day in our shoes can't come up with an agreement makes me sick to my stomach. Sorry if voicing my opinion gets you in trouble, Jim.

I agree with you 110%. I would also like to thank you for your service, and I hope you make it back well and in one piece.
