Countdown to Shutdown (Fed. Gov.)
Anyone else going to be affected by a Fed shutdown?
My wife works for the ATF and she will be "walked" w/o pay if they don't come to an agreement today. I am fortunate enough to keep working (DHS) b/c I am "essential" but I will not get paid until later in the year (when everyone else goes back to work). We will be able to get by for a week or 2 but it will spell out bad news if it lasts longer than 3 weeks. Anyone else going to be affected?

Gottcha Don! I did not realize this is a political topic. I also did not realize I was pointing fingers at any gender or religion. I did not mean to offend anyone, Don. I will try to find others that may be in my situation that may want to conversate about this matter elsewhere.

Thanks Scott! It won't be that bad...we will still get paid (unlike others) and it will be like the Friday after Thanksgiving almost. You know that at the FLETC "GLYNCO", will discontinue all schools/training and fly EVERYONE home OVERNIGHT until they fix it! Can you imagine how busy JAX is gonna be? lol.
I am sad I can't enjoy the "vacation" with the Ball-N-Chain but I am grateful to get paid....someday.
