motor mount....
my 66 had a 400 with a C6 and i recently purchased a 84 F-150 that has a great running 300 straight 6 and C4. i am having troubles finding the motor towers that bolt to the truck so i can sit the 300 down and finish the project. the towers that were in the truck that the 400 sat on will not work and the towers in the 84 will not work when i sit them in the 66. any help on tracking down some mounts or if you have any suggestion's, i look forward to hearing from you

beau, The 400 uses the same towers as 302, so someone swapped out originals. I-6 from 65-79, FE (390) 65-76 will work.
If power steering has been added or you plan to, start at 73 up for most common. The I-6 & FE should be same.

very grateful for ya'lls help and idea's. you will appreciate this, i ran up on a junkyard and seen a 66 ford f100 long sitting out and had to just pull in (who cares if i'm running late lol) turns out it has the original 300 still in the truck with all the mounts attached. since i needed some other parts for my slick, i offered the owner 400 bucks for the rest of the truck and he bit. so i just got it back to the house. motor spins over nicely and all the glass, trim, dash accessories and trans still in great shape. can you say, SCORE lol
