2004 Escape XLT TRANS
I own a 2004 Escape XLT...I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem in the past?
When accelerating hard, say onto the highway or just getting on it, It will accelerate up to about 60 and that's it, it feels like it will not allow it to shift into the final gear and let me accelerate more until I get out of the throttle for awhile. The engine will hold at around 5k rpm and not shift up until I do so. Could this be something as simple as a transmission flush or maybe a sensor that needs to be replaced? The fluid level is good and the engine seems to be doing fine, I just replaced all six coils and plugs.
