I searched the tips & trick thread and came up empty.
I have a 76 F150 I'm redoing and would like to change out the column & wheel to have tilt and cruise. Does anyone know what other years/makes/models would fit without major hassles?
Also, can anyone confirm Ford seats are interchangeable up to a '96?
seats have been confirmed to fit up to a 96. but some of the brackets might have to be swapped depending on the year of seat you switch to. the brackets that bolt from the floor to the sliders might have to be changed.
i cant clarify much farther as far as what years have different mounting brackets. but it is a bolt on upgrade.

Thanks in advance!
I have a 78/79 column in my 76 . It wasn't much of a job to install...
all the steering colums from 73-79 are the same and the 70s models have a tilt wheel colum ive put the seat out of a 93 in a freinds truck we had to use the seat tracks of the original seat but it all bolts up
Thanks, but am hoping to expand my search for a tilt column outside of the 73-79 F-series if I can (trying to widen the search pool/candidate list). I've found one, but it had the automatic shifter setup, and I have the old 4 spd manual on the floor, so no worky.
