My son OJ and I took a seasonal visitor from Canada to a Phoenix Gun Show last week. I understand that these are some of the largest shows in the US. Or should I say gun sale markets. I was amazed at the size myself. The Canadian was just blown away. They, in Canada, are very restricted from owning hand guns and semi-automatic rifles. All he could say was “I read about this hand gun or this automatic rifle. I wish I could have one like this or that one over there”. You guys have so much freedom down here. While looking at some AK’s and he saying “I wish I had one of these”, she said why not buy one. His replied he is from Canada and can’t. She said not true if you meet certain resident conditions and marched him off to a federal firearms representative for an explanation. He said on his return in the fall he would stay for more than 90 days and would meet the other requirements and buy a few items to be left here. Just a little story on our freedoms here in the USA, don’t take any of them away.

Thought it is possible to buy fully automatic weapons from a Class III FFL in your story your are referring to semi-automatic?
Just need to keep the words straight anti-gun people could take that to mean a foreigner could come into US and buy fully automatic weapons at gun shows.
