Hey everybody! It's been a while! Hope everyone is doing great! I have a question for you all. I'm having starter problems with my 99 powerstroke. I can't get the starter to spin. I have 12+ voltage in both batteries, new solenoid, good wires and I had the starter tested. It tested good twice. I tried to cross the solenoid and I still can't get the starter to spin. I'm running out of ideas. Maybe some of you can give me a hand here.
I've heard battery of cables looking good, but corroding through inside close to the clamps. Do you have 12 volts to the starter? Also does the block have a good ground?
I might go to Abilene to the gun show. I'm also working on selling the old Yota, and have some folks coming to check it out. I also need to get the bed pulled from the SD if the weather cooperates.
Going to try and make it down to help Clint do a transmission-- but I bet I have honey doo's-- Since We are having royalty staying with us next weekend :-)
