Ok, so here goes. Im putting a new master cylinder and power brake unit, and a remote resivor fill for my 54 f100. Got the kit from performance online, (never deal with them again). I have all new hard lines. I bled the MC on the bench just fine. I put it all together and I have no pressure at all coming out of bleeders or even at MC fittings. Tried gravity bleeding, I got a vaculla on each bleeder, (air vac pump). Even if there was a ton of air in system shouldnt I atleast get a LITTLE pressure at MC? And tried re-bench bleeding it and wont even do that, wont move the fluid. Sorry may have sounded like a was rambling.
I would go back to the bench bleeding first. Those remote resiv m/c are a pain in the butt to bleed right. Clamp the m/c in a vise, somehow position the resivior above the m/c so the fluid will bleed down into the m/c. Now connect a couple of hoses to each outlet and put these in a jar of fluid. With a long punch or screwdriver, slowly pump the m/c piston all the way to the end. Release and do again, watch the bubbles in the jar, pump until you have no bubbles. You should also feel restistance in the piston as it pumps the fluid into the jar.
If you can pump and pump and never get the bubbles to stop, you've probably got a bad seal inside.
Also make sure the fill lines aren't kinked and that the cap's vent is clear.
If you can get your hands on a pressure bleeder, that is the best way to bleed these brake systems when you have built a new system. Gravity doesn't realy work when the m/c is mounted on the frame.
