adjustable clutch pushrod
my clutch was slipping a little bit so i brought the truck to my transmission guy. he pulled off the rubber stopper where the pedal goes all the way up and presto...no more clutch slippage. the pedal now comes up a bit higher. he said that i could upgrade to an adjustable pushrod to compensate for the worn out parts causing the need for my pedal to be up so high without slippage. anybody ever heard of this or done it? this guy really seems to know what hes talking about, and hes worked on my truck before without any complaints.
