Should be on the BOM, or decoding the warranty plate. Are front and rears blown? If not you can count teeth and divide or rotate the tire and count drive shaft revolutions (In case he swapped them). IIRC...these things came with 3.50's/3.54's/3.55's or 4.10's/4.11's.
BOM should be a metal tag on the pumpkin and the warranty plate is either on the driver's door, or on the pillar of the driver's door under the striker.
Were would i find decoding the warranty plate? Right here...
1963/80 F100/350: The Warranty Plate is located on the left door face below the latch.
Post the AXLE code from it.
Dana 44/60: The Ford front/rear axle ID tags are located under one of the bolts that retain the inspection cover to the housing, but...today, many are missing. The code will be similar to this: D6TA-AA.
The Dana 60 ID tag is bolted to the housing adjacent to the inspection cover. The tags ID number will have either 7 or 8 digits, similar to this: 603010-1 or this: 603010-11.
Post what you find, I can decode all of it.
704 denside man: The glued on white Safety Standards Certification Label is located on the B pillar. It does not have the AXLE code on it, only the trucks production date, front/rear GVW's and sometimes the tire sizes.
1973/79 F250 4WD: 3.54-1 (Dana 44), 4.10-1 & 4.56-1 were the available ratios / 3.50-1 = F100/150 & Bronco only / No 3.73's with 4WD, 2WD only / No 3.55's were available in F250's until the 1980's.
when i pulled the cover to inspect mine it had a number that pretty much said "4.10s" i dont remember the exact number but it was somthing like "0410" or something
