So I have a Edge Insight CTS and I was wonder what the IPW should read on it? It seems to vary around .80 to 1.35 depending on how I'm driving. I saw it drop to 0.00 after I got on it and took my foot off the gas peddle. Have a lot of issues with this truck, just wondering if I have a new one to worry about. Truck is a 07 F350 Crew LB SRW 4x4. Thanks
The Injector Pulse Width is the amount of time the injector is open. Higher injector pulse width = more fuel injected = more power output. It is calculated by the computer based mostly on how hard you are pressing on the go pedal.
So I think what you are describing is probably normal.

what kinda issues are ya having
low power or something
Long story. Pulling my 8-9k tow hauler from Reno to Pismo Beach. Just lack of power when towing. Most of the problems were if there was a hill, truck just didn't pull up the hills like I thought it should. Foot to the floor and I was going about 55-58 mph. Took it in and they rePlaced the EGR and oil cooler, FICM, and fixed a bed plate leak. All that made no difference, still struggles towing up hills. They said my injectors and turbo are good, I have good boost 20 to 28 when going up the hills, RPMs are up around 3400, it just won't go.
So now they are telling me that's just the way it tows because of my gearing (3.73) on a long bed truck.
My question about the IPW was just to know what it should be reading. Thanks
