Intake bolts
Well,,, let me say it this way,,,, I DID and broke one

I put a new Performer 400 on my 77 with a new holley 600,,,, drove it a couple days,, decided to check them,,, *@#$%^&** WTF was I thinkin,,
I have never done it on my other trucks,,, why?!?! I do not know,,, so at some point and time I will be pullin the intake to get the broken bolt out and put in all new bolts,,,, (second mistake, re-using the old bolts)
so,,, my opinion is nope!
Bolts are made to stretch when torqued,,, I had had my intake off a few years back to replace the head gaskets,,, so they had been torqed 2x that I knew of,,, 3rd time is a charm,,, if you used new bolts,,, I wouldn't worry so much and would probably check them,,, but not if you used the old bolts like I did..

Usually for engines the only thing they recommend torquing after a few miles is the head bolts. I always retorque head bolts or studs, but for me they've never loosened anyways.
