Non-psd Vs. Psd

I am shopping for a used F250 to use in my lawn care business. Most everyone says to be sure I get the Powerstroke. My budget is keeping me in the '93 to '96 year model price range. If I find a good deal on a non-powerstroke diesel truck should I go for it, or should I keep searching for the Powerstroke? Thanks for any comments.

Get the Power Stroke. It has a lot more power than the IDI. What's your budget?

Being that your budget is fairly low, I would go with whatever truck you can find with the lowest mileage. 250,000 is an approximate mileage when Power Strokes need an overhaul, so try and find one well below that mileage. If you can't find a low mileage Power Stroke, the IDI is still a good engine. Try searching on autotrader, you can do an advanced search specifying a diesel engine.
