a lot of wind the other day but not bad here in coldwater but further north they did not fare very well . cool this am but this afternoon sun out bright an i had to turn on a fan in the shop this afternoon at least its warming up

Sorry I am late, but like David, I forget to start up the new month. I guess the E-mail notification is what keeps me reading during the month. Barry Pray your back is doing better and that all of you had a great April's Fool. Got the rest of the body parts back from sandblasting on "Ole Betsy" so I have no excuse now not to finish up and put her on the road. Harley

Hi yall, greetngs from west Texas. Past couple' of days, dodged La State troopers, Dallas hi speed drivers & massive wildfires that would have meant about 160 mile addition to an already over 1K one-way trip. Yesterday in the Big Bend National Park, our trusty Escape trucked up down mesas, around mountains, & the remnants of volcanos all the way down to where the Rio Grand flows through a canyon in a 1500 ft high shield wall. This place is really impressive.
We're staying in a completely solar/wind powered house where our nearest neighbor is on the side of a mountain about 2 miles away & the others are a mile or so down the valley from us.
Also somewhere around here, Carol Shelby has a 22,000 acre ranch.

I'm lovin' this weather!!! Gonna get under the ole truck's hood this weekend see if I can get those return lines done and tow her to the transmission shop.
