It's an offer that's currently being offered up here in Ontario, Canada.
the ford.ca website has the current incentives and the Costco is one of them for me, at least.
I just needed to be a member before April 1st (which I am) and i can get the rebate as long as the truck was iether ordered during the offer time or pick it up during the offer time, which I hope is the case.
I'd have to confirm with the salesman but from my understanding of the deal, I'd be getting it.
Down there in the Good Ol' U.S. you may have something similar or nothing at all this month. your incentives may not have been published yet.
I ordered my truck 3/10 and got an extra $500 as an AQHA (american quarter horse association) member. You have to be a member for a period of 60 days prior to the purchase. Not sure if that offer is still valid but it was advertised in one of my horse journals last month.

two dealers have offered me whatever rebates are higher, time of order or time of delivery.... two other dealers say its at the time of delivery, and there is no way to do it otherwise......anybody know which is correct???

From what my dealer tells me some smaller dealeships are given the ability to apply the best rebate at the time of delivery, either those at time of order or those at time of delivery.
Ford apparently does that to help the smaller dealerships compete in a tough market.
And, because you can't always trust what a dealer tells you, I did get verification of this while discussing my deal with a larger dealer. They told me I would have to take the incentives now and there was no way to choose between the better of the two.

Well...I ordered my truck from a large dealer who locked in the rebates while the small guy in town told me they couldn't do it and yet another dealer said any dealer can do it....LOL
Mine said you will get whatever rebates are offered on the day you take retail delivery period...just like it says on ford.com. He said anyone offering anything else was doing it "out of their own pocket".
I bought mine off of a dealers lot. I was negotiating price at the end of an incentive period, so I put a $100 down on the truck and my salesman said that he would give me the better of the incentives as long as we wrote the deal up in the first week of the new incentive period. When the new incentives came out they were not as good, so he back dated the contract and I was on my way with my truck. It worked out well!!!

That for sure is incorrect. Any Select Dealer can lock in incentives as part of the Select program. Other dealers can apply for an ad-hoc lock in as well without it cutting into their profits.

This may be dumb but what is a select dealer. Can I tell if my local dealer is one?
Ask them. Then, if you don't believe them, call Ford CS and ask them if the dealer is a Select Dealer. And, ALWAYS send you salesman an email confirming the offer and what they've told you and ask that they reply with confirmation. Nothing is stronger than a written document in the event something changes down the road.

It's a good idea. I sent my salesman an email reply listing all the items I wanted and wanted him to confirm some of the extras we had agreed to but are not on the contract.
I asked if he could confirm my 4 extras as listed in the email and he messaged back saying "Yes, those exact four items will be added to the truck before you pick it up"
There's no way he can re-neg on any of the items because I have a complete list of all emailed communication.
I was worried about him doing a switcheroo on some items so I was VERY specific what item I wanted in what colour and by what manufacturer so he can't install something of lower quality.
For example "Line-X" colour matched spray in bedliner. And I will expect to see the warrenty card from Line-x or they are re-doing the job.
Same with my "FlipBak" folding Tonnau and "Bedrug". If I get something of lower quality, I wont take possession of the vehicle until it is changed
