how to cover body lift gap?

how to cover body lift gap?
im not a big fan of body lifts but my truck had one on when i got it... im wondering how some of you guys cover the gap between the bed and the frame? im thinking welding a piece of metal to cover it but not sure where to weld to
any ideas would be appreciated

take and get some of that black plastic garden edging the stuff that comes in a 20 foot roll. cut to the length u need and self tap it to the bed or drill holes and use bolts. stuff looks good for years. i got a pic of my dads truck with it done kinda hard to tell couse its not a stright on side view. looks good though he also did it to the front to keep it from throwing road debre in the engine bay.
