I just bought this truck last week, so far I love it!!!
It has a Fabtech 3.5" lift and currently wears 325/60/18's that I don't like.
I am planning to go with 20's with a 275/65 Nitto Dura Grappler but I'm having a hard time choosing the wheels.
I really like the newer super duty 20's but that's next to impossible, plus I'm not too keen on spacers while towing.
Ball joints and brakes are done but it needs an alignment so I need to get a new setup soon.
Any suggestions? Post pics please.
I'm leaning toward black MB Gunner 8's with the machined lip and I also like the XD Cranks in black.
I seem to be leaning toward the black wheels thinking this will look pretty mean when it's done.
Sorry Joe but I too like the late model 20's but between the cost of the tires, wheels and spacers it is a pretty heavy hit, thats why mine still has the tiny stockers on with a 4" lift spring swap!
I am looking for a set of cheap 18inch wheels, if you find your 20s are you going to sell your 18s? If so, how much and were are you located if you choose to sell? What brand are the rims and what is the back spacing?

I'm going with the '11 Takeoff 20's after all. I will be looking to sell the 18's, however I don't know anything about them but I will measure them when they come off. They were on it when I bought it. They aren't in very good condition, they are pitted from good 'ol winter in new england. I though about keeping them and having them blasted and powder coated black for winter wheels.
I don't know what or how much you are towing, but do some research on this forum about going with 20s and towing. Some have had some negative outcomes from that. As well when going to 20s be sure and check their load rating. Usually the bigger the wheel, the less the load.

I could tow 10,000lbs and the tires wouldn't matter. Payload is still no more than the tongue weight which would never exceed 600-700lbs. Load rating of the tire really only comes into play when you are loading up the bed of the truck. Anyhow the new tires are load range E which are the factory installed equipment for a new F250/F350. I think the engineers at Ford may have some idea of what they are doing. My Excursion and I should be very happy with the new shoes.
