Question Hawk pads SD

Anyone running the Hawk pads SD along with the powerslots? I had my right powerslot turning yesterday due to a faulty hub that caused the rotor to be a little messed up. Not warped though, so they said they only had to to cut a little bit off to true it. the former brake pad created a bump in the center of the rotor, prob due to the wheel wobble from the bad hub. So I ordered new Hawk SD pads and plan on installing them next week. I have the truck sitting in the driveway until then. I do tow a heavy (14k) toy hauler long distances (sturgis etc) so i felt i should go with these pads. I previously had the LTS pads on the truck. Hopefully they work out well. Jeff

I had the LTS pads on and I went with the SD pads. Not much of a noticeable difference, but I have not towed yet. I also have Powerslots.

I think for the weight you pull and the distance that SD pads were a good move. LTS are good for "everyday" type usage and light/occasional towing, but you're pretty heavy over a long distance... never good to 'skimp' on brakes, even a little.
