Need help with trailer backup light wire
2004 F350 XL 5.4L- Putting in a 7pin connector,beforehand i tested the terminals on the square plug,i have power to all signals,12v,brake control etc.
Except for the black wire with green stripe (backup light) NO POWER.
-I checked the fuse 15A position 39 good
-There is power at fuse.
-harness seems in excellent condition all along frame.
The gas engine Super Duty doesn't use a relay.
What am i missing here???

I had to check and it does say in the owners manual that the relay is for Diesel only. But that doesn't make sense. I wonder if it is a misprint and you do really need a relay in position 212 in the CJB.
