wheels
This truck came with factory 20" wheels and 275-65-20 Good Year tires.
I just had a flat tire a became aware of the fact that it was a 18" tire with a rim that had a restriction of 50MPH. I haul a 5th wheel and do not want to be caught having a flat hauling it around. My question is, I would like to buy another wheel and put a 265-65-20 tire on it for my spare. I need to know what size wheel I should be looking at. I see that some of them online give numbers like....8-lug 170mm standard with 6.5 offset. Not sure what these numbers are telling me but just need to know what I need to order right the first time. Thanks Again
You can find take-off wheels on craigslist.org pretty cheap.
The 170mm is the bolt center diamenter. The offset you mentioned doesn't ring correct with me, but I haven't looked it up. But if you go with a take-off from an '05 and up Superduty you should be fine. You don't want one off an earlier truck.
