2wd to 4wd
My friend has a 86 ford bronco that is a 4x4 5spd I think and a 87 ford ranger that is a 2x4 5spd. both are v6's. what he wants to do is make the ranger into a 4x4. would it be easyer to put the ranger body on the bronco frame or put the front end of the bronco under the ranger. From what I can see I think it would be easyer and cheaper to put the ranger body on the bronco frame. Has anyone doenthis and maybe have some pointers. we will be doing it this summer.

I'm assuming you mean it's a Bronco II when you say it has a V6. My guess would be that the BII frame would be much shorter overall than the Ranger. I would think you could get the front end and cab on OK, but getting the bed on would seem to me to be a big problem.
