So, George.....

I broke the new ash tray also.
3 times now.

This last time I don't think is repairable. If I open the ash tray it will fall outa the dash now.

I'ma have to make one of these things outa aluminum or something, The plastic is getting old and brittle. =*(

I'll take pictures friday and post them. haha.

LMC sells terrible parts. Used some of their stuff on a 72 k5 blazer resto and it's all junk

Mine works the other direction. Ain't got no metal things in the dash on mine. Hit the throttle good (which sure is fun!) and it's an auto opener. Distributes my loose change for the kiddos to "discover" in Dad's truck. The wires for the lamp hold up pretty well with the thing swinging back and forth. LMC and the other parts folks all want an arm and a leg for one and I have yet to see one in a junkyard. You'd think all the red ones would still be there.

They're a big company so I'm glad to hear you had good luck with them...I just know that I didn't and they wont get my business anytime soon

There is a really nice blazer sitting out in the front yard here that was re-done with a lot of LMC truck parts.

They are good with chebbies.

I've never bought a ford part from them though.
