2002 Explorer Sport Mods
2002 Explorer Sport Mods
I'm thinking about doing some modifications to my 2002 Explorer Sport to turn it into a daily driver that I can take mudding on the weekends. I believe I can accomplish this with the following 3 upgrades. Any input into additional upgrades that I should make would be much appreciated.
The SuperLift kit isn't designed specifically for my truck but I called the company and they verified that the kit is applicable to my truck. I can get the above parts for about $3,400. Any suggestions?

From what i have learned, usually turning your dd into a mudder doesn't work out so well. Keep in mind mud is hard on stuff, which in turn will wear "stuff" out a lot quicker. For less that $3,400 you can hit up craigslist and find a already lifted truck with tires ready to go. Just a thought.
