Took a picture of my truck today in the corner of the shed. I'm going to try to get it started soon and get it out for a clean up. It hasn't been started in a long time. I'm hoping that the strange tingling I'm feeling is my motivation returning to get this truck back on the road! I'll keep you all updated on my progress. I hope I'm posting this pic correctly!
That is a very straight looking truck. Got my F3 out for a short drive on Sunday. First drive after a looong winter! Is the bed original? Script? Does it tilt?
Enjoy!
I got the 48 F1 out last week. Drove it to work one day and then Friday I ran down to see Tinman52. His shop is awesome and his talents with sheetmetal are lightyears beyond mine.
My 52 F2 is still buried in snowbanks.
Get it out and drive it Rojak asap. It's a natural high!
Welcome to FTE and that is a really straight looking truck. From the outward appearance it would seem that you have a driver after a good washing. Enjoy it and send more pictures.

Thanks for the comments. It is a solid truck and I got some good parts with it when I bought it. I don't think I need too much parts wise. I need to finish the wiring and interior. I also will need to finish the wood for the deck and the stake racks. I have all the wood for it as the PO was a contractor. I believe it is oak. It is an original Ford script flatbed. Does not tilt.
Love driving the antiques. My Dad has Model T's. It is a natural high. Life in the slow lane as the T guys say.
I was out gazing at the truck today and looking through my parts supply. You guys are giving me some much needed motivation to get back on it!
JR Mack: I don't think it is the original drivetrain. I believe it has the later F250 rear axle. I'm certainly no expert so I'll take a pic or two when I can and see what you guys think.
