The truck has 59100 miles and still under the 60k mile warranty. I was towing around 5k lbs on Saturday for 80 miles both ways. When I got back the undercarriage was soaked in tranny fluid and dripping from the pan. The last transmission service was done at 30k miles at the dealer. Today I took it to the dealer for service and the tech said the fluid came from the transmission vent, provable cause overfilled.
When I got there the tech was gone and so was the service advisor. How can it be overfilled after almost 30k miles of service? I tow regularly from 6 to 10k lbs and never had any spilling issues. Something is not right and I only have 800 miles of warranty left.
