I would like to replace the lug nuts on my '72 f250 2wd. Wheels are 8 lug. As you know, I prefer to use nos oem parts. Does Ford still make these? If so, could you post the part number? If not, please list any available.
One last thing, were these lug nuts originally painted or plated? Mine are currently painted black (by the PO). I doubt that was how they came from the factory.

Cadium plated as original, but I'm not sure what the latest lug nut finish is...could be black.
6W7Z-1012-AA (replaced: B-1012, B-1012-A, C0AZ-1012-A (what the '64/72 catalog calls for), C9AZ-1012-A, E6DZ-1012-A (black-same as Taurus/Sable), D8AZ-1012-A) .. Lug Nut-1/2" -20 / Available from Ford.
Still want genuine Ford? Prolly not at this price...back in the 1960's, they were 75 cents each.
I did locate 69COAZ-1012-A's if you're interested, but these same lug nuts were used beginning in 1932 on a gazillion cars/trucks, so finding plenty in a boneyard will be a snap.
Crown Vic's/Mercury Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Cars used the same thru at least 1991. F150's & Bronco's thru 1996.
