Help please!

Have a late 03 build 04 f250 while on a long rough road at low speed I seemed to of bent my steering stablizer, got to the payment and removed damper but A/C clutch would not lock on!

Got Codes
u002:
p132;
p1000 OBD reset (DL)
P0603

No CEL and the truck ran fine towing small trailer but p1000 code comes back after I clear it and I would like to use my A/C!

Bottomed out in a couple of deep hole and jarred pretty good!

What going on?

Battery ground wires OK? There is a ground connection near the steering stabilizer mount that might have been impacted (passenger side).

Don't worry about the p1000 code. That's going to come up any time you clear the codes...it'll go away after a few drive cycles.

You may have lost your refrigerant. The compressor clutch won't engage if the refrigerant is low.

Can a jolt like falling into a hole in the dark and landing on a rock cause it to leak or cause the codes in the first place think thats when I bent damper nothing else bent and drives great? And would a seven mile low speed small mountian road drive cause the codes to start, noticed not much right turning radias on the trail then got on the highway and knew something was wrong, the bent damper was keeping me from turning very far right and I also wondered if it started the codes? My CEL never came on I can't find the ground bismic was talking about!

Also what caused the PO603 and what should be done about it?

And are the u002: and p132; real codes, what do they mean?

Thanks
Joel

The p0603 goes along with the p1000. It probably set when you cleared the codes by disconnecting your batteries.

Don't know what U002 is...that seems to be missing a number. Same with P132...you sure that wasn't P132b?

Hard for me to explain. Best way is to remove the passenger battery and follow the ground cables to their grounding locations on the frame/engine(should be two cables).
