my buddy showed me this article from Fast Company the other night and i believe it very interesting given the man's story and the basic parts he uses to make it happen. i decided to post it in this forum just because i know the major problems and complaints are due to the low mileage and emissions on these trucks

i found the article very fascinating because even though this guy was not the pioneer of the idea of using alternative fuels along with diesels or alone in the engines but he didn't even graduate high school and seems to be "out thinking" the bigger motor companies' engineers. plus the high horsepower gains are nice of course! my point? he, along with others has been very successful in trying new methods to raise fuel efficiency while lowering emissions long before the article was published (2007) and now here we are in 2011 and still have to deal with DPFs ?!?! lol
i enjoyed it, hope you do as well
