Lost title options
Several years ago I bought a 1967 f100 and didn't put the title in my name. I've since lost the title and want to sell the truck.
Does anyone know how I could figure out who the truck is titled to? I've had it at least 10 years and it's not been registered. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm in the middle of doing one right now. Bought a truck that had a title from Missouri that was signed by the seller to a buyer who then sold it to someone, who sold to someone, who then sold it to the guy I bought it from. All I had was that title and a bill of sale from the guy I bought it from. Took those to a guy in Taylor and two weeks and $200 later I have a bonded title I have to bring to the county courthouse so I can get the truck a real Texas title

I actually just got the title in the mail today. I applied for a title history, found the title holder and looked him up, called and asked for his help. I gave him $75 for his trouble and they printed out a new title on the spot.
