1.7 rockers???

1.7 rockers???
i have a 90 f250 4x4 5spd with a 5.8 from a 95 f150. its got some pacesetter shorties. would some 1.7 rockers be a good idea for this motor? would i need different valve covers?
i also heard that this motor has a roller cam. does that mean it operates with roller lifters?

Yes a roller cam means it has roller liters, and yes 1.7 rockers are a good idea IMO. I suggest you not remove the baffles inside the valve cover however and just "clearance" them where necessary.. meaning use whatever tool necessary(like a hammer) to produce the clearance needed so the rockers don't hit the baffles. FYI. These baffles covers the oil fll and PCV holes on respective valve covers and it's only the rockers directly below these that will potentially have any clearance problems, all other rockers will clear the stock valve covers no problem.
