Picked up a 2011 Today
From the dealer I work at.
Traded my 7.3L in.
Lariat SB 250.
So whats the lowdown on exhaust, programmers, better mileage, etc..
Doesn't seem to be the aftermarket out there like the 7.3 has.
Is there anything to be recommended?
DEF deletes? EGR Deletes? Gimme the low low

If you want your warranty, keep it stock.
I can't remember any posts off the top of my head but there are a few here.
It has been discussed here that tuners or changes to the computers are logged.
Dealers can review the certain hidden codes and are instructed to call Ford where they'll discover something has been modified.
Even with the emissions "stuff" the MPG is good, much better over the 6.4L.
Also, don't let the DEF scare you. It's a non-issue. Add DEF and keep driving!
Anyways, that's a nice looking truck!

Congrats on the truck. I'll keep my warranty, thank you. Let us know what you find out there for aftermarket hop ups. Where have I seen that color before? Hmmmm.

Congrats on the fine looking truck!!!! We were just looking at one a couple days ago with the same colors.
Does yours have pinstriping on it to seperate the blue and gray like the one we were looking at?
That's probably my favorite color combo on the SD right now. Best of luck with your new rig!!!!
