Only you can answer that, but generally speaking you don't have to do anything to run 33's, but sometimes there are variables involved such as tire width, wheel offset and spring sag that may affect tire fitment.

Remember, he is talking about a 2wd, 33's might be a bit big for stock.

So it looks like I will need a lift to use these tires. They are 33x12.5. 16.5 rims

Hey white boy same here I got a 74 F250 2wd an plan to put 33" on it. Mine are 285/75/R16 & was told it might be tight for sharp turns an things like that. I am looking at a 2" lift on mine to be on the safe side.

Yea I might do 3" just to be on safe side. But all the lifts I see for my truck. Say will not work on trucks with the steering box close to firewall. And I won't have my truck for another 3 weeks so I don't know yet where it is

33x10.5x16.5 will rub the fender on dips and turns a bit. im actually looking for a simple lift for the front. only about 2 or 3 inches just to keep the fender off the tires.

The guys at les schwab told me that with a 2wd, you should be able to go to 12.5 wide before tire rub. And PEALOFTHEDESERT, my 31.5x16.5x10.5's have no problems with rubbing

I have run 285/75/16's on a 67 F250, and a 73 F250 & F350,, on 16x8 rims,,, ummmm,, standard offset,, I think is 3.75"? So I would say yes, you could fit them,, might rub a tad on a mid-turn bump...

I think Irok and some other heavy off road companies make tires for 16.5 wheels... only problem is they are somewhere around 38-40 inchers. Way to big for a stock truck

i know BFG makes 33's and 35's for the 16.5 too. i got 33 bfg's on my truck now and they suck. I need to get 15's and forget all the bs that comes with the 16.5. anyone else have a problem with any other wheel smaller than 16.5 wont fit? i think its the caliper screw but not sure..
