fuel pressure?

fuel pressure?
I had a fuel leak from the fuel heater on filter housing. I also had pretty rough idle. I fixed the leak now rough idle is gone. So this has me interested in getting a fuel pressure gauge. Where would I hook that up? And what would the psi be? Has anyone done it?

you can get your fuel pressure reading off of the schrader valve on the fuel tower i had to order the "ford Fitting" to screw of the shrader valve from auto zone it was 10 bucks and it screws on to my fuel pressure gauge .... the pressure at the valve is 4 to 6 psi i belive or 6 to 8 psi

Ok nice. You think I could get a permanent gauge that I could mount in my truck? And still use that valve?

i dont think i would put one in it at all as it is a potienl for a leak or air intrusion and the only time your be workin on fuel related issues you wont be sitting in the drivers seat you would be standing right where i was holding the gauge

I have a triple pillar with pyro, water temp, oil pres. Now with my turbo and zf5 going on Im getting another gauge pod to mount on the dash. Im thinking the one that has three in a row. So I need to fill that hole with something

when you get a chance can you take a picture of your interoir? from the drivers door looking in ?? im trying to figure out why the PO in my truck bolted down my seats with ****ty toggle bolts and there all moved over in dis a ray its crazy lol just trying to get an idea what it is suppoed to look like
