Grill question.........

Hello to all,

I need to replace my 2003 grill and would like to know if the 2005-2007 style would fit without any modifications.

Does a 2008 grill also fit?

Just would like to know what my options are.

Thanks for any replies!

You have to cut some off the bottom of the 05-07 grille to make it fit. Don't think the 08 will work.

I asked because I saw a grill on e bay and it stated it was modified to fit my 03' I wanted to know to what extent the mod would be and if I could do myself. They want $250.00 for the grill...................thanks.

Yes I saw that one & they have the clips on the bottom so it snaps in & fits like stock. Some folks cut em & zip-tie the bottom, you could do a search & see a couple write-ups. BTW that outfit puts them on sale every once in a while, I was gonna get one a few weeks ago but I just missed the sale price...lol

Hey thanks for the tip on the sale every few weeks. I will keep an eye out.

I just think it looks better than what we have and mine is all faded so time for new. Just don't like the thought of people thinking I have a 6.0 Liter!.......(<:

(<: yeah, it looks better for sure. I think it will look good with a grill guard too that I need. Looking at a black one because don't like the look of too much chrome and cleaning the darn thing (bugs).

If I see that item on sale I will let ya know.

JUst don't like the other after market grill options either as compared to 6.0 L look!....(<:

I bought my '05 grille for $100 new and cut it down to fit. It may not be as perfect as the one on ebay but I was happy to save the money and put towards some other mods. I just used the four screws on the top to install it and nothing on the bottom and it has been just fine like that for close to two years now.

Here is a pic when I was done.

Very easy to cut with a roto-zip or dremel.
