OK, so here's the idea I have had for the last few months. We all drive the dirty old diesel with a bad reputation with the tree-hugging lefties. I like to go that extra mile to flip the silent finger to those whom are misinformed. I am thinking about voicing my opinion via bumper sticker. And this is how:
Picture the Sinclair "dino" with the words "Dino Powered" on the bumper of your IDI. A big, green leaf-eater with a terminally devastating phrase next to it. It is sure to crush the morale of any "green" or environmentally "neutral" passer by.
Do you really want to hear my idea for the Prius Crusher or "Pull up here --> to see the magic Prius color changing trick" stickers? Probably going too far.
let me know if I am insane and should remain in my straight jacket or if you think this is a cool way to tell popular culture to jog on.
Zakk, that Cummins is awesome. I'll have to come up with some mock-ups. I was also thinking about a back window picture.
I have not seen Sinclair around for a long time. Does anyone know if they are still in business or can I use their dino without worrying about copyright issues?
no one will ever ask just one guy, if you feel scared, just put the copyright at the end of the dinosaur. Only if you intend to sell and make a profit do you wind up in a situation. itll be fine and im all for showing up with a badge of hilarious in your face! haha. I still want to get one along the lines of "yes it smokes, so does your mom!" lmfao

HAHAHA. Incidentally, my mother does smoke how funny is that? I guess it has more effect on the target audience.
I'll have to get out my old Photoshop skills and see what happens.
By the way, Sinclair Oil does still exist but they seem to have more large quantity (behind the scenes) supplier-side petroleum sales.
zakk... when did you park next to my truck..lol i personally like the "
Doin my share for clean air" across the back of my buddys pullin truck. that old girl smokes like a freight train on soft coal.
im going to sound gay but considering i have to mess wit those ugly lil cars every day i can say they are the "smart car" on the road, the main diff in any hybrid is the head, but the pruis is more then less a gaint computer. and in power mode it will out run the v6 camry ( and when wet out it will eat the tires off the wheels ) if any one gets to drive a 2011 highlander hybrid ill let u no its stupid fast
Sinclair is still around, they have a refinery in Tulsa. There's a few sinclair branded stations still around too, they're the only stations that don't have E10 as the "standard" offering and real gas as a higher price option (if at all). They just don't sell ethanol blends, at all, locally.
If you are worried about copyright infringement, modify the dino, or use a different style. There were many different dino's back in the day......
