I have a 4in lift on my 68 f100 and i put the 4 degree c-bushings on and my track bar isn't long enough. Does anyone know which drop down bracket or adjustable track bars i should go with or can substitute for. Please help i am pay 6 bucks a day to keep it at the shop i was working on the truck at.
Check out sites for suspension parts for 73-79 F-100/150's as they are exactly the same. Also check out the Big Bronco sites for the 73-79 BB's. The EB's aren't as wide. Try Bronco Graveyard.
I recommend using the RA drop downs (I used Rough Country).. ''did 'em on my rig with a Superlift Adj. track bar... I'm going with BDS on the track bar drop bracket. Theirs is beefy.
Your going to go with the drop down bracket as well as the adjustable track bar. So you got to do the drop Pittman arm to? what lift height are you going with.

I went with a 4-inch lift on my 73.. RA drop brackets, adj. track bar, and dropped Pitman arm. I passed on the track bar bracket because I didn't think I needed it. Now I've got bumpsteer because the track bar and the drag link are not parallel to each other and thus travel in different arcs. When I hit a BIG bump, the difference in the arcs results in the steering being yanked in either direction....
I suppose if I had gotten the track bar drop down bracket I wouldn't have ordered an adjustable track bar... However, it does allow the axle to be perfectly centered instead of the rig possibly dog-tracking down the road.
