I have a '79 that's going to the paint shop in the next couple days and I'm having a fit trying to find the paint code. The truck was stolen a few years ago and the metal door tag was ripped off and never found. The original owner told me that the color is Medium Blue Glow and that it was 1 of 2 "glamour" colors available that year, and I can't find any info on the web about this color on a 79 F150. I did find several 80's mustangs with the same color name, but they don't look the same. Please help! Thanks!

I sure will. I've been wanting to post that new paint job on here for a couple years now. I found this well-kept, all original F150 4X4 shortbed sitting in a garage after 7 years of shutting her off covered in road salt. a cab corner, door and bedsides were rusted out but she sure is nice. I'm having a hard time with keeping her 400 and suspension all original. I'd ultimately like to swap in a 460, but realistically doing an intake, cam, and 4V carb. Also, the A/C is all intact but the compressor bearings are shot. Is there a retro new style compressor I can get for it? I'd love to get y'all's input on all this. Thanks
