Looking at a 05 EB Explorer, need input...
Will be looking at what looks to be a MINT 05 EB 4x4 with the 4.0L. 96k on the clock.
Are there any good tuners here on the board that can do a tune to tighten up the tranny shift points and lockup?
I have not driven it yet but I have not driven an explorer/ranger yet with the 4L/auto combo that didn't feel mushy, slushy, imprecise, and slippy.
I would prefer a V8 model but this is a very well kept suv and is priced right. Guy said he has all 4 wheel bearings, alternator, and brakes replaced in the last couple months.
Has EVERYTHING but the BU sensors asking 10.5k
Thoughts? Tuner suggestions?
