Sorry Joey, but in and out movement is not good. Side to side is ok as long as it don't hit the housing.

Thats what i was afraid of it moves in and out about an 1/8 it drives normal though i dont have a boost gauge or egt to watch.

What will happen if i keep running it till it gets worse. Will it break and go into my engine?

White smoke can mean oil is getting past the bearing seals and getting to the exhaust side. Oil at the end of the tailipe is aslo a sign of leaking seal if it is bad enough. When the turbo goes white smoke will poor out of the tailpipe. When I had a catastrophic turbo failure the only harm was to the turbo.

Keep an eye out for the signs.

I checked mine while I did the CCV mod and I have the same thing going on and I thought it was ok like Joey said, we were both backwards. For MatJ and myself what do we do to correct the problem?

I wouldn't. When it has a problem metal could fly and it could be BAD.

If you let it go too long it will go big time and leave you stranded. When mine blew I was able to drive about 40 miles at about 35 MPH and pumped 7 quarts of oil through my exhaust. Doubt I would have made it much further without the injectors shutting down for lack of oil.
