I have been evicted from my shop space along side of I-85, because of a widening project of that hiway. I had to move all of my stuff and some of my fellow NCFTO members come over and help this past sat. We got loaded up and put 9 Ford trucks in a convoy. We ranged from 65 to a new Powerstroke that was pulling a 16ft. trailer with my project truck on it.

Man that was some site, to see all of those Ford trucks lined up like that.

Ford trucking is a beautiful thing.

 

Where was your shop in Durham?

 

Just off the 85 N. exit ramp Guess Rd.

 

How long were you there? Me and my dad used to get propane tanks filled at that Exxon (am I right?), does it have a lot of old cars and a old tow truck sitting behind there? I might have actually met you if you worked there about 5 or 6 years ago.

I live out between Guess & Duke St, do you live in that area?

 

No, I've never lived in Durham, just that me and dad used to go down to that station to get propane tanks filled every now and then. I live up in Butner. I guess a lot of things have changed in 10 years.

 

Not living in Durham can be a good thang. We'll have to get together one day soon and talk Ford trucks.
