tonite i raced a 78 ford with a i6 and he beat me, not by much but he still beat me, but my truck isn't running right. i was just wondering how badly i would beat him if it was like it should. just curious.
I agree with ya Evan. I've driven a couple EFI's that were noticably slower than mine. That could be partially due to weight, I don't know. The 79 I've driven was just a hair faster than mine, probably because it had a 3.50 rear versus my 3.08.
Well now what mods you got to your motor. Auto or Man. and one last thing driving experience. My 300six can keep up with the best of em now(could it be the old head)

If you're talking to me, every truck I mentioned was bone stock with a manual. The only small exception would be no cats on my 86. I've never driven a 300/auto.
well now I gotta hella combo goin 87 bottom end with a 67 head and a 81 intake/exhaust with a new carb. No cats No mufflers(i dont understand why u need em). The thing will go now. Once i get her timed ill see what she tops out at.
