Clutch problem
Clutch problem
I have a 1997 Mazda B2300 with 239000 miles with a 5 speed manual and I have just replaced the clutch. I finished the job Friday night and it seemed to shift just fine; next morning it would not go into any gear. I bled the line and then it worked again and Saturday evening, once again it would not shift to any gear. I guess I am not bleeding the line properly for it seems to work just fine after I bleed the line and then the hydraulic clutch doesn't seem to work. Tonight, I can't shift once again. It has been a wonderful truck for the 10 years that I have had it; obviously I am not bleeding this vehicle correctly which is very possible as this is only the second clutch I have done. Please advise. Thanks.
hhhmm well idk if its the bleeding because you should be able to at least put into a gear with out the clutch, But iv never bled a clutch but i have done it for brakes hundreds of time, and i think there the same, But as long as ur pushing in the clutch and keep it pushed then release the valve lit the fluid flow out then tighten it and then release the clutch, So idk try it like that because im pretty sher thats the only way to bleed
