74 390, just change intake, cam, and headers. I now have a miss off idle and will go away as it speeds up. My compression readings are 1 at 102, 4 at 105, 2 at 110, and 1 at 111. The wet test is 4 at 110, 1 at 115, and 3 at 120. Is my engine too wore out to handle the up grades? It ran fine with the stock 2 barralel, intake, and exhaust manifolds.

Could it be possible to have some Gasket material in one of the cylinders ? Slightly fouling a plug ?? Pull the plugs and check them or replace Maybe a piece of carbon is fouling a plug at idle
I am now thinking my cam or lifters are bad due to the oil not having the zinc properties, i used lube when assembling the parts but have since learned if you do not use an oil additive you may have problems.
I had a similar problem. After some research, I found out that FEs are NOTORIOUS for misfire due to spark jumping between the #7 and #8 spark plug wires.
Checking the separation of those two wires might be something to look at.
Can you describe your symptoms in a little more detail?
I'm wondering if what you are describing is a fuel or electrical issue. Maybe the accelerator pump shot isn't enough, now that you've upgraded the internals?
Have you already drained the oil since the break-in? If so...did you see a lot of metal?
