2000 expy EB 219000 miles, I recently had a problem with my truck. First it started this winter on a really cold day...wife was taking it to work and was stopped to make a left turn into a store a few blocks from home and the truck wouldn't move. Engine was running just would not move forward or reverse. She sat in the truck for 10 mins until i got there. I put it in gear... no problems, drove fine... for about a month. Then about 4 weeks ago, after driving about 75 miles I was going up a pretty big hill and heard and felt a hard bang when it was shifting up, it did it 3 times until I got to the top of the hill. I took it to the garage had them check the fluids change to oil etc. Ran fine until today, drove on the highway about 30 miles with no problems, got to the off ramp, at the stop sign engine reved but no power, tranny caught and we started moving then i heard a God awful grinding noise and lost power again, caught and was ok then happened one more time. I shifted to 2 and it grinding sound stopped I put into drive and then turned off the overdrive and it seemed to run fine the rest of the way home...About a mile...This all happened in the span of about 1.5 miles. Haven't driven it since...Tranny fluid is full and I had the tranny rebuilt about 2 years ago with no other transmission problems since then.
