Engine compartment question

Have these hoses always been slightly seperated?
(pictures are slightly blurry)

I honestly can't remember what it looked like new (such as if these were pushed all the way down to the engine block) or if it has always been this way?

Since there are two like this, I doubt the hose has moved but wanted to ask anyways.

I don't think they can move on their own. Did you have it worked on?

No, even the times it has been at the dealer a tech wouldn't have been doing anything in this area of the engine compartment.

If others are like this, then it came this way and I never noticed (or forgot if I did).

What are we looking at in the photo? Where in the engine compartment? Are you concerned about the "gap" ??? My 6.7L isn't in yet so can't check my own for you

The clamps on my engine are the same spacing. I think it is normal, there is plenty of material on the back side of the clamps. The clamps on the radiator a new design that I am not familiar with.

Yes, I was questioning the gap.
These hoses are on the right side of the engine/truck (EGR cooler; your left if you have to stand on the front bumper like I do).
More appropriately, those hoses are the EGR cooler secondary coolant inlet/outlet.

You'll have to wait until your truck gets in to look.
I know...I'm not helping!

Thanks for checking.
Yes, you are correct that the hose would need to move quite a bit before it would become an issue.
You can get a good idea from the left smaller hose in the picture showing both.
