Mahalo, and yes that is Koa for the inlay and paddle edges.

The shaft is Basswood and the blades have Poplar, Basswood and Koa.

The paddle should be delivered to the new owner this weekend.

Iʻll keep posting pictures of builds as I go along.

That type of paddle is unfamiliar to me, though I'm sure it has evolved over eons to be the perfect compliment to your type of (proa? outrigger?) canoes.
